Crown The Champion

This is the one award that isn’t up to the judges. The People’s Choice Award is decided entirely by you — the people who actually eat the food.

All 37 trucks competing at Food Truck Wars 2026 are eligible, and voting is open throughout the event weekend (April 10–12). You get one vote per day, so if a truck blows your mind on Friday, you can still give someone else love on Saturday.

Before you vote, a few things worth thinking about:

• Actually try the food first. This isn’t a popularity contest — it’s about who showed up and delivered on the day. Walk the grounds, taste what catches your eye, then come back and vote.
• Think beyond your go-to order. The truck doing something you’ve never tried before might deserve your vote just as much as your longtime favourite.
• Consider the whole experience. Great food is one thing, but the trucks that go the extra mile — presentation, creativity, how they treat you at the window — that’s what separates good from unforgettable.
• One vote per day means your opinion can evolve. Friday’s favourite might not be Saturday’s. That’s the whole point.

The truck with the most votes at the end of the weekend takes home the People’s Choice trophy — and serious bragging rights for the rest of the year.
